Bleistein, now celebrating more than 35 successful years of trading, was incorporated in 1965 in order to be able to supply the growing number of manufactures in Hong Kong with furs, and has now extended its client base to cover all major Asian countries, the United States and Europe. Today, Bleistein possesses a general trading division which specialises in supplying Russia with Chinese products of every description. Hurwitz Exports Ltd., the parent of Bleistein & CO. (HK) Ltd. was incorporated in 1945 and has therefore been an active member of the London Fur Trade for 55 years. Actually our Chairman began his career in Leipzig in 1930, and moved to London in 1936. He has therefore enjoyed 70 fruitful years in the trade both as a skin merchant, commission agent and manufacturer.
